SmishAlert's core product is messaging threat intelligence: employee reports become correlated signal that gives security teams visibility into campaigns and exposure. For organizations that also want structured training workflows, optional training campaigns can be enabled as an add-on.

What training campaigns measure

Each campaign can produce actionable outcomes you track org-wide: whether an employee engaged with the message and whether they reported it through SmishAlert. These outcomes are meant to complement the core intelligence signal from real reported incidents.

Who can use this

Simulation controls are available to organization administrators in the web console when the feature is enabled for your organization. If you do not see Simulations in your admin navigation, contact your SmishAlert account contact, email support@smishalert.ai, or book a demo to discuss access and pricing.

Setting up and running a training campaign (admins)

From the organization admin console, open the training/simulations area. Create a campaign, give it a clear name your team will recognize, and choose who is in scope (specific people or groups you have configured). Configure recurrence only if needed for your program. When you are ready, save your campaign and send or activate it according to the on-screen controls. Exact labels may vary slightly as the product updates; if anything is unclear, email support@smishalert.ai with your org name.

What employees experience

Participants receive the campaign message on their phone. If someone engages with the message, they are taken to an in-app education screen right away so guidance lands while the moment is fresh. The landing experience is hosted by SmishAlert and not presented as an unrelated third-party site. Employees who report the message through SmishAlert are counted as a positive outcome.

Reading results

The admin console shows campaign outcomes so you can see how the cohort behaved. Use these numbers to guide follow-up training and to decide whether to run another campaign. Reporting is currently oriented around the campaign and organization as a whole rather than fine-grained breakdowns by department or job role in the dashboard.

Exports and training platforms

You can export results for analysis or for import into your existing learning management or security awareness platform. Webhook-style delivery is supported so compatible systems can receive outcome data without manual spreadsheet work.

Improving over time

Schedule recurring campaigns only where it supports your program. Comparing results across runs—using exports or your LMS alongside the console—helps you show progress over time. Built-in longitudinal trend charts are not part of the dashboard today; recurring runs plus exports or your training platform are the practical way to track improvement.
