Message filtering not working
Check that SmishAlert is enabled and selected in iOS Settings.
If messages don't seem to be filtered, confirm the following:
- Settings → Messages → Unknown & Spam: turn on Text Message Filtering and select SmishAlert.
- You're within your 7-day trial or have an active subscription (check in the SmishAlert app).
- The message is from an unknown sender (iOS only filters unknown senders through the filter extension).
- Restart the Messages app, or restart your iPhone, and try again.
If it still doesn't work, open the SmishAlert app and check for any in-app messages about subscription or permissions. For more help, use the chat on this site or contact support@smishalert.ai.
