What happens to reported messages
Where reported content goes and how long we keep it.
When you report a message or call, the content (or number/metadata for calls) is sent to our systems for threat analysis. We use it only to provide the service and, for business plans, to feed your security team's tools.
We do not
- Sell reported messages or your data.
- Use reported content for advertising.
- Share your reports with third parties except as needed (e.g. your employer's security team, or when required by law).
Retention
We retain report data as long as needed for analysis, security improvement, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data by emailing support@smishalert.ai.
