FAQ: Pricing and billing

Common questions about the exposure pilot, organization subscriptions, and the consumer Apple subscription.

How much does it cost?

**Organizations:** most engagements start with the 30-day exposure pilot — $2,500 for up to 50 enrolled users ($5,000 for 51–100 users), with 100% credited toward an annual subscription if you move forward. The subscription is $4.99–$7.99 per user per month, billed annual, with a $1,500 monthly minimum, scoped on the executive readout call. **Individuals (iPhone):** the consumer app offers a 7-day free trial, after which SmishAlert Plus is $4.99/month or $49.99/year, billed through your Apple ID (the annual plan saves about two months). **Android:** we do **not** offer consumer in-app purchases on Google Play—Android is deployed by organizations via MDM. When am I charged?

You're not charged during the 7-day trial. When the trial ends, you're only charged if you've tapped Subscribe and completed the purchase. You can cancel before the trial ends in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions so you're not charged.

Why was I charged?

Charges come from Apple (they'll show as "Apple" or "App Store" on your bank or card statement). That usually means either your 7-day trial ended and you had subscribed, or a renewal (monthly or yearly). You can see the exact date of your next charge in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SmishAlert.

How do I know my subscription is active?

iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SmishAlert, or open the app and confirm you have access. Android (enterprise): access is governed by your organization's license—confirm with IT or your SmishAlert admin; there is no consumer Google Play subscription to check.

Can I use SmishAlert on more than one device?

iOS subscriptions follow Apple ID rules: you can install on another iPhone using the same Apple ID and use Restore purchases. Android enterprise users follow your organization's device and account policy—there is no personal Play subscription. Organization-wide user billing is typically managed on the web.

Can I get a refund?

For **iOS** purchases made through Apple, refunds follow Apple's policies—see Request a refund (through Apple). **Android** consumer IAP is not offered; for enterprise licensing or user charges, contact your SmishAlert account contact or support@smishalert.ai.

What about teams and organizations?

Organizational programs include MDM deployment across iOS and Android, campaign correlation, executive reporting, SIEM/SOAR integrations, and optional training add-ons.
