FAQ: Pricing and billing
Common questions about the free 30-day pilot, organization subscriptions, and the consumer Apple subscription.
How much does it cost?
**Organizations:** Team starts from $2,000 a year, beginning with a free 30-day pilot. Executive protection add-ons are $4.99 or $14.99 per person per month. **iPhone:** Personal is free (on-device filtering, Practice Inbox, up to 10 reports a month). Unknown Guard is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year through the App Store. **Android:** on Google Play. See Getting started with SmishAlert on Android.
When am I charged?
For individual plans, you're charged after you tap Subscribe and complete the purchase in the App Store. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions so you won't be charged on renewal.
Why was I charged?
Charges come from Apple (they'll show as "Apple" or "App Store" on your bank or card statement). That usually means a renewal. You can see the exact date of your next charge in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SmishAlert.
How do I know my subscription is active?
iPhone: open the app, or Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SmishAlert if you added Unknown Guard. Android: open the app, or check Google Play subscriptions if you purchased there. Organization phones follow your admin.
Can I use SmishAlert on more than one device?
iOS subscriptions follow Apple ID rules: you can install on another iPhone using the same Apple ID and use Restore purchases. Android enterprise users follow your organization's device and account policy. Organization-wide user billing is typically managed on the web.
Can I get a refund?
For iPhone purchases made through Apple, refunds follow Apple's policies. For Google Play purchases, refunds follow Google's policies. For organization licensing, contact your SmishAlert account contact or support@smishalert.ai.
What about teams and organizations?
Organizational programs include MDM deployment across iOS and Android, campaign correlation, executive reporting, SIEM/SOAR integrations, and optional training add-ons.
