Restore your subscription on a new device

You don't have to pay again—restore your SmishAlert subscription after getting a new iPhone or reinstalling the app.

If you already paid for SmishAlert and you've gotten a new iPhone or reinstalled the app, you don't need to pay again. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID—you just need to restore it.

What to do

  • Install SmishAlert from the App Store on the device (use the same Apple ID you used when you subscribed).
  • Open the SmishAlert app.
  • Look for "Restore purchases" or "Restore subscription"—usually on the subscription or account screen, or when the app asks you to subscribe. Tap it.
  • Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted. Apple will restore your subscription if it's still active.

If restore doesn't work

Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that has the SmishAlert subscription. You can check in Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases. If you're sure you're on the right account and it still doesn't restore, contact us at support@smishalert.ai and we'll help.
