Onboarding overview (iOS)
What the SmishAlert onboarding screens cover on iPhone and how to get the most out of them.
When you first open SmishAlert on iPhone, you'll see a short guided tour (about six screens) that covers:
- Welcome and what SmishAlert does (mobile phishing protection).
- Your 7-day free trial and how to start it.
- Automatic message filtering for you and, for business accounts, visibility for IT teams.
- Report & Analyze: reporting suspicious messages and getting AI-powered threat analysis.
- QR code threat detection: scanning QR codes to check URLs before you open them.
- Getting Started: quick steps to enable filtering and reporting in Settings.
On Android, onboarding is tailored to that platform (sign-in, permissions, and organization steps). See Getting started with SmishAlert on Android.
The bigger picture
There's a bigger picture for organizations. SmishAlert is the system of record for social engineering reaching your workforce: reported and filtered messaging is captured, correlated into named campaigns, and surfaced to your security team with executive reporting. If you're setting up for a team or want a platform walkthrough, see the 30-day exposure pilot section or schedule a scoping call from Support & Contact.
You can move through the screens with Back and Next, and finish with Get Started. We'll ask for notification permission so we can send you important alerts if needed. You can skip or allow—both are fine.
