Report a message from the Messages app (iMessage)

When you're in a conversation in the Messages app, you can open the SmishAlert iMessage app to report that conversation and get an instant threat assessment.

How to report from Messages

• Open the Messages app and open the conversation containing the suspicious message.
• Tap the App Store icon (or the three dots) next to the message input to open the app drawer.
• Find and tap the SmishAlert app icon.
• Follow the in-app steps: you may be asked to confirm or add details. SmishAlert will analyze the conversation and show you a threat category and assessment (e.g. Clean, Suspicious, High risk).

You must be in your free trial or have an active subscription for the Messages extension to submit reports. If you see a prompt to subscribe, your trial may have ended—open the main SmishAlert app and tap to subscribe, or see Why do I see 'Subscribe to continue'? for more help.
